DescriptionThe nude, full-length figure's only adornment is a fig leaf. He has closely cropped, curly hair. Nude male figures are often arbitrarily assigned the title Antonious, relating them to the numerous nude male statues representing Hadrian's lover found at his Villa. Without documentation, it is impossible to identify the image represented in this statue.
