Label TextAmong the anomalies of Henry Huntington’s collection is a pair of bronze vases in the form of Indian elephants. Though they are the only objects of this type that he acquired, they fit into a larger interest in Asian art. Both Henry and Arabella Huntington acquired, separately and together, a number of Asian antiques for display in their homes.
