DescriptionAn early 19th century watercolor depicting a group or neo-classical buildings along a fenced and tree lined street. In the catalogue of the Barry Cohen Collection it is suggested that this may be a view of Yale or Middlebury College, Vermont From 2022 Appraisal: a group of neo-classical buildings along a fenced in and tree-lined street. It has been suggested that the composition depicts a New England College - Yale, Dartmouth or Middlebury.
