Label TextBronco Buster was Frederic Remington's first sculpture and his most enduringly popular. He modeled it in 1895 after a successful career as an illustrator and painter of primarily Western subjects. Details such as the leather-clad stirrup dangling empty from the saddle add to the implied action and lend authenticity to the depiction.
