DescriptionCotton printed fabrics and chintz comprised of five stars of pieced diamonds against a white background with four floral branches with bird appliques between the stars in broderie perse technique, borders of small red triangles separate the large central area from the succeeding borders, one border features eight-pointed stars, each made of a different single fabric, the final border being a strip of glazed chintz. Very fine hand quilting at 14 stiches per inch in a variety of designs, the quilting includes trapunto in the horn of plenty and feathered plumes with close background stitching. White muslin backing in three sections with self-binding.
