Label Text:Using an unusual tripartite format, Blake shows Satan on the left, Adam and Eve walking in Eden on the right, and the angel Raphael intercedes within a V-shaped cloud. God the Father hovers above. Adam and Eve are mutually self-involved and fail to see that Satan, encircled by his serpent other-self, has come to end their innocence.
